LINX Cargo Care Group (LINX CCG) created a VR safety training platform in collaboration with Curiious and Samsung Electronics Australia, creating the first of its kind in Australia’s supply chain and logistics industry.
The safety training used a mix of 360 videos and interactive, gamified challenges that trained and refreshed dock workers on the hazards and required safety measures when working at the docks. Training sessions were by a trainer via a tablet, integrating with the CURIIOUS IQ ecosystem that ran classrooms integrated with Samsung Gear VR headsets.
I was challenged with not only producing and creative directing this exciting project, but also designed the curriculum alongside existing LINX CCG Trainers with resounding success - including a 71% increase in hazards reported, and 90% increase in near misses reported.
