Debuting at CES 2020, the Jeep Simulator is an interactive, multi-sensory user experience in a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Guests were able to experience Jeep's off-road capabilities, by taking a seat in a real Rubicon and driving through real, 360 footage of Hell's Revenge, as the car moved in synchronization with the rocky landscape. Four "passengers” were able to experience the drive simultaneously, their headsets synchronized to the same content. The system utilizes a four-post hydraulic/actuator system to provide an incredibly authentic Jeep Experience.
We filmed on location, on the Hell’s Revenge Trail in world-famous Moab Utah, using custom drones and cutting-edge 360 cameras. Customized motion sensors were used to track actual vehicle movement on the trails to feed data to the hydraulic actuators for exact vehicle motion reproduction.
